A long time ago, around the time the first Despicable Me movie came out, there was a tie-in runner game. Then the next few movies came out, and stuff from those were added to it. Then it just... kept on running, with more stuff being added even when there wasn't a movie to tie into for a while.

When it first came out, it blew all the other runner games at the time out of the water with its variety of environments and gameplay gimmicks. It's aged, for sure, but it's still great for break time gaming. I've been playing it on and off every few weeks or so since it came out, I was surprised they kept it going so long.

Today, they announced the release of a massive update in which they've overhauled the game with a new engine and new gameplay elements! Looks like I'm going to be playing this one regularly for a while again.
